The estate

Located in the iconic Côtes du Rhône wine region, our vineyards benefit from a unique terroir. The varied soils, composed mainly of granite, along with the region’s microclimate (continental and Mediterranean), provide optimal growing conditions for our grape varieties.

Our terroir is also distinguished by its topography; the Northern Côtes du Rhône are part of the “Heroic Vineyards,” where working the vineyards demands strength, courage, and sincere passion from the men and women who tend them. All of this takes place against the backdrop of an exceptional panorama!

At Domaine Romain D’Aniello, we are committed to honoring our roots and our family through our signature wines. These two exceptional wines are produced in limited quantities from carefully selected vineyards:

• L’Empreinte de Papy : A red Saint-Joseph that evokes robustness and depth, inspired by my grandfather’s strength. This powerful, well-structured wine is already making its mark at fine dining tables.
• L’Esprit de Mamy : A white Saint-Joseph, full of finesse and elegance, just like my grandmother. With its delicate aromas and silky texture, it captivates lovers of fine white wines.

These premium vintages represent the very essence of our estate, where authenticity and high standards are our guiding principles.

In addition to these flagship wines, our estate offers a diverse range of wines to satisfy every palate:

• Reds: A powerful and full-bodied Saint-Joseph red, and a fruity and approachable IGP Syrah.
• Whites : A white Saint-Joseph, a floral and expressive Viognier, and a Marsanne that is both round and mineral.

Each wine reflects the soul of our terroir and the care we take at every stage of winemaking.

To ensure the impeccable quality of our wines, we have equipped the estate with state-of-the-art facilities. The modern tools we use allow us to tend the vines and grapes under optimal conditions while respecting the plant’s natural cycles. Our goal is to combine technological precision with traditional expertise to create exceptional wines.
